A scissor-like handheld tool developed for the removal of the outer protective insulation coating of large cables. The integrated asymmetrical curved blades, resembling a lobster’s claw, would allow a worker to easily cut around the circumference of the cable, while the shorter of the two blades would leave room for a cut lengthwise or longitudinally along the cable.
